Successful end to the Korea Tourism Organization’s participation at World Travel Market

The Korea Tourism Organization had a very successfully 3 days at this leading global travel show being head in London ExCel from 6th to 8th November.

The Korea Tourism stand, which was visited by thousands of attendees at the show, included a wide range of Olympic interactive activities that visitors enjoyed and engaged with, included curling, creating Olympic medals and 3D imaging to make figures of themselves.

Ahead of the coming Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang in February 2018, Mr. Changsoo Jung, the CEO of the organization visited the exhibition centre to promote the Winter Games and had interviews with renowned broadcasting companies and magazines such as Eurosport, Selling Travel, ABTA and CNBC to talk about the PyeongChang 2018 and future strategies of the Korea tourism. Also the BBC presenter at The Travel Show and a former Paralympics basketball player, Ade Adepitan interviewed the Director of KTO London office, Mr Seunghyun Hwang.

With over 700 3D figures of the Olympic Cheering Members made at the stand, there was much speculation as to which would be selected to be displayed at Sang Sang stadium in Korea next year.
