‘LONDON KOREAN FESTIVAL in Olympia London’ 8 July 2017 11.00 – 22.00

On 8th July, 2017, the ‘London Korean Festival’ will be held in Olympia London.

The festival will be a great opportunity to introduce the Korean culture and the forthcoming PyeongChang2018 Winter Olympics. The event is divided between daytime activities and an evening programme, which combined will comprehensively introduce Korean culture, art and tourism.

The Korea Tourism Organisation is planning to run a ‘Korea Tourism Stand’ at the festival, to help promote the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics which is scheduled to start on February 2018, as well as all its famous tourist regions within the country.

Also, as part of promotional events, visitors will be able to experience winter sports such as ski jumping and ice hockey through virtual reality, which will provide visitors with an opportunity to explore Korea’s main tourist attractions and UNESCO world heritage sites. Main airline companies and tour operators will be on hand to welcome and assist all visitors at the festival.

The first ‘London Korean Festival’ was held in 2015 in Trafalgar Square and attracted an audience of 50,000 across the duration of the day. Following on from that wonderful success two years ago, the 2017 London Korean Festival, the second in the series of the festivals hosted by the Korea Cultural Centre UK will offer a wide range of activities including Korean food tasting, a B-boy performance and a K-pop concert.

Ahead of the London Korean Festival, KTO offers a chance to win a pair of tickets to see K-pop stars on 8th July. Please check KTO London facebook page for details.
