The London office of the Korea Tourism Organisation (KTO) is running a competition to promote travel to Korea on its website, with a variety of exciting prizes on offer. One lucky winner will receive flights for two and a 3-night hotel stay, while other prizes include a Samsung Galaxy Tablet, Korean tea sets, and Korea tourist products.
Open to residents in nations covered by the London office – the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden – entrants must simply share why they want to #VisitKorea across KTO London’s various social media channels. They will have until the 29th of June to enter, with winners to be announced on the 6th of July.
The event is being promoted by an advertising campaign on YouTube using videos from KTO’s ‘8 Faces of Korea, 8 Types of Trip’ series. Focusing on ‘Mystery Korea’, ‘Romance Korea’, and ‘Thriller Korea’, the campaign showcases personalised itineraries and trips based around themes designed to meet the changing tastes of overseas visitors. The videos are aimed at different sectors of the market as the trend of tourism changes to more personal itineraries, and feature a variety of locations throughout Korea including Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gangwon, and Jeju.
